I purchased the eWool pro heated vest after participating in a product demonstration at the 2025 Toronto Outdoors Show. I was very excited when my new vest arrived within a few days! I used the vest for early spring fishing out on Lake Huron, and also for deer hunting in the fall that year. I was very pleased with how the vest kept me warm all day on my hunting and fishing adventures, and was impressed that I had only charged the battery about 4 or 5 times! However in December before going out for a final bow hunt, I plugged in the vest to make sure it was fully charged before going out for the day. But when I turned the vest on, it immediately flashed a strange signal and shut down and would not heat up? I tried troubleshooting the problem according to instructions provided by eWool customer support team, but the vest failed to turn on and heat up after only about 6 or 8 uses! The support rep said the vest was under warranty, but a replacement would not be available until possibly late fall 2026, which I was not very happy about considering the cost of the vest! In April 2006 I received a phone call from Frank at eWool and he apologized for the problems I had with my new vest and the misunderstanding I had with their customer support rep, and that he would personally work to solve my issues. Within 2 days I received a new battery to try in my vest, but it would still not turn on or heat up. Frank called me the same day and offered to send me the new Pro+ vest under warranty, since there was no stock of the older Pro vest. Within a few days I received my new Pro+ vest and it has worked flawlessly so far this spring for fishing and turkey hunting! This to me shows the importance of dealing with reputable Canadian companies who take pride in delivering a quality product to the market and who understand the importance of looking after their Canadian customers. My family has purchased vests, heated sock covers and heated gloves from EWool. Their products are top of the line. I received the sock covers for Christmas. I cannot afford to get frostbite on my feet again. Within two months of wearing my sock covers, the button to heat one of them malfunctioned. I was told there would be no stock available until September 2026. When I emailed back to ask if all sizes were out of stock, my size was available. Frank Roy is the best customer service representative at EWool. He messaged me back to let me know he is sending them to me. I appreciate his tenacity to assist me and provide working merchandise within 5 mailing days. These sock covers are a game changer! With appreciation, Thank you Frank and EWool Dianne
My experience with the eWool company started in 2023 when I purchased a heated vest. I could not believe how this has changed surviving winters in Canada for me. I am always warm now. It is easy to charge the battery. I don't have to wear a super bulky winter parka now and I am still warm whether it is in the car, walking or in the house even in the coldest of temperatures. I am chronically cold and my husband is always hot so wearing the vest in the house helps us to compromise. I first saw the eWool vest at a sporting event in the fall and I asked the person about it and he told me how fabulous it was and where he got his. It was worth every penny and I LOVE that it is a Canadian company. Fast forward to 2025 when my battery stopped working. I called eWool and they were so incredibly helpful. I just wanted to purchase a new battery but they asked for a copy of the receipt and said they would honour the warranty even though it was expired by a little bit. I didn't even know it had a warranty!!! Francois was the person who helped me and he was fantastic. I told him I was buying the mitts as well and he helped me out with making sure I had the correct size and he held on sending me out the battery until he could combine the order. The company is unbelievable and the customer service is the best I have come across in quite some time. I highly recommend eWool products.
Wonderful company! I ordered an EWool vest last year for my dad (to help keep him warm as he was going through cancer), my parents never told me it didn't work (being busy with appointments & life). Afterwards, my husband and I brought it home. Only to find out the vest wasn't heating up. Ewool was quick to respond and sent us a replacement in the size for my husband. The replacement works super duper well! I'd order from them again, great experience with customer service and glad to put their product to good use, it works well on those chilly nights at the dog park :D Thank you Ewool.
I am extremely happy with all of my dealings with ewool. I purchased their glove liners last year and they are the best I have tried and I've tried several different brands. I teach skiing at Copper full time and warm hands mean a great deal. These glove liners really work.
