I purchased this vest a couple of weeks ago. I’ve already used it for my hunting expeditions and when working up north (kuujjuak,Iqaluit etc). I honestly love the vest. Not only it keeps you nice and warm but it’s a great barrier for that cold humidity that gets under your skin. I strongly recommend it.
The vest is very good in style and warm. The only thing is the battery life. It seems to be much shorter than 4 hours in normal setting (white LED) after one full charge of battery
This was a great purchase, the vest itself is phenomenal in cold weather and wonderful for all our new social distancing rules (e.g., meeting friends on patios and in parks, vs inside of restaurants and homes); I often wear it inside, too, and keep my thermostat a couple of degrees lower. I recently bought one as a gift for my husband -- a testament to both the quality of the vests, and the SUPERB customer service I received. I have recommended this item to several friends as a result of that outstanding treatment. I do think it runs a tad small -- I’m 5’2”, roughly, and typically wear a size small, but for this item, the women’s medium was better for allowing light layering underneath. I went with a men’s medium for my spouse, too, and that fits him nicely. Their exchange policy for sizing is fantastic, regardless. Thanks, ewool! I feel like I can finally take on the winter, and in style.

J'ai quand même eu certain problème avec la batterie, mais l'équipe ewool m'a rapidement envoyé une autre après avoir été mis au courtant de la situation. Love it!
Although the vest worked and functioned well for my wife, she found the placement of the battery very uncomfortable. Being in the middle of her back, it pressed into her back when she leaned into the backrest of of our motorcycle on our recent 5 day trip making for some long days. The backrest is not adjustable as it's part of the TourPak (trunk) of out touring bike. Consideration should be given to this and possibly moving the battery to the front, either lower left or right for motorcycle use.
I purchased the ewool vest at the bike show..I fell in love with it when I tried it on. The best was thin and stylish. I like the fact that the neck warms up as well. I purchased this to ride and also to wear to work on this really cold days when I didn't want to have a heavy coat. I layered with the vest. This purchase is a must for all who ride in cool to cold weather. And even if on a cold day you want to go out and not wear heavy layers. Totally awesome.
I initially saw the ewool heated vest at the Toronto Ski show. I'm male, 42 5'9" and 180lbs, and wear a large in all my upper body clothing. When the ewool rep. suggested a medium, I corrected him and said "I wear a large". "Trust me" the rep. replied, smiling. I tried on the suggested medium vest and zipped it up, I felt like I was being hugged by angels. It fit better than great, it fit superb. How can the medium fit so well? The 6" of additonal stretch is how. "Now the best part" said the rep. The heat was turned on. I couldn't believe how quickly the vest heated up, and uniform heat distribution. The temperature adjustment was very convenient. I recall thinking to myself, "this was far superior to the one I had at home." This was a brilliantly designed and functional heated vest that looks great. I liked the low profile fit, not bulky, and easily fits under a jacket, coveralls or a ski shell, and the near instant heat. I wanted one, and Christmas was coming. I took the sales persons card and gave it to my wife. Upon first opening my own vest, I instantly loved the slick packaging. Well thought out and attractive. The vest fit the exact same as the one I tried on at the show. I ordered 2x batteries with my vest. I intended to use it both for work and as a mid layer on cold snowboarding days. The vest works very well under my work coveralls and adjusting the temperature thru the coveralls is very easy. I have used the jacket for extended periods of time and have yet to run out of battery power while wearing it. Having the 2nd battery is a treat, guaranteed not to run out. When snowboarding, the vest fits great under my shell. I find on moderately cold to extreme cold is where I use the vest. Overall I've used my vest lots, its great for hiking, golf, and even on my motorcycle. The jacket can plug directly into any 12v power source eliminating the need for batteries. Mostly touring motorcycles have auxiliary 12v outlets. I can't say enough about the quality, the fit and the uniform heat. I love my vest, ewool you made a great product.
