My experience with the eWool company started in 2023 when I purchased a heated vest. I could not believe how this has changed surviving winters in Canada for me. I am always warm now. It is easy to charge the battery. I don't have to wear a super bulky winter parka now and I am still warm whether it is in the car, walking or in the house even in the coldest of temperatures. I am chronically cold and my husband is always hot so wearing the vest in the house helps us to compromise. I first saw the eWool vest at a sporting event in the fall and I asked the person about it and he told me how fabulous it was and where he got his. It was worth every penny and I LOVE that it is a Canadian company. Fast forward to 2025 when my battery stopped working. I called eWool and they were so incredibly helpful. I just wanted to purchase a new battery but they asked for a copy of the receipt and said they would honour the warranty even though it was expired by a little bit. I didn't even know it had a warranty!!! Francois was the person who helped me and he was fantastic. I told him I was buying the mitts as well and he helped me out with making sure I had the correct size and he held on sending me out the battery until he could combine the order. The company is unbelievable and the customer service is the best I have come across in quite some time. I highly recommend eWool products.
Wonderful company! I ordered an EWool vest last year for my dad (to help keep him warm as he was going through cancer), my parents never told me it didn't work (being busy with appointments & life). Afterwards, my husband and I brought it home. Only to find out the vest wasn't heating up. Ewool was quick to respond and sent us a replacement in the size for my husband. The replacement works super duper well! I'd order from them again, great experience with customer service and glad to put their product to good use, it works well on those chilly nights at the dog park :D Thank you Ewool.
My pro vest has been my constant companion since receiving it as a gift a few years ago. While living in the Northwest Territories I wore it under my parka or snowmobile suit to keep me nice and toasty. Even when working at home, it’s great to keep me cozy. The vest is thin enough to wear under a jacket without adding too much bulk. The stretchy side panels allow it to be worn over a variety of base layers. It still looks like new even after wearing it regularly for several years. As amazing as the product is, the customer service is even better. I reached out to customer service and received rapid assistance from Frank. When I had issues with my batteries, they offered to make it right. It’s nice to see a company that stands by their product but also listens to the consumers to make improvements. My one suggestion: protect your investment by following the battery care instructions provided, especially in off season.
I use a variety of heated wearables from different manufacturers. Gloves & Socks predominantly. I'd say my Pro Vest from eWool is one of the best. Simple to use - no app required and easy to adjust the temp while wearing. It's well made and looks nice on. It's habit-forming to wear it whenever there is a chill in the air! Can't wait to use it under my Goretex Shell this year on the slopes. I'd note that the products fit a little smaller, almost like European sizing. One thing to note is that the 70W battery is very good for longevity, but a little large. It's flat which is good but reasonably large. Not a huge problem for my physical size (6'1 / 200lb).
I have used heated under gloves for the past 2 years skiing and I love having warm hands. I average 45 days on the slopes each year in all kinds of weather so cold hands are not acceptable. I have switched to Ewool gloves this year as my previously gloves are now letting go at the seams. Upon receiving the Ewool in September 25 for the upcoming ski season I am very impressed with the quality and attention to detail put into the Ewool mitts. I’m also impressed with the ability to charge while leaving the batteries in the gloves and also the haptic feed back for the heating levels. Simple but effective. I’m truly impressed. Can’t wait for the season to begin.
