My pro vest has been my constant companion since receiving it as a gift a few years ago. While living in the Northwest Territories I wore it under my parka or snowmobile suit to keep me nice and toasty. Even when working at home, it’s great to keep me cozy. The vest is thin enough to wear under a jacket without adding too much bulk. The stretchy side panels allow it to be worn over a variety of base layers. It still looks like new even after wearing it regularly for several years. As amazing as the product is, the customer service is even better. I reached out to customer service and received rapid assistance from Frank. When I had issues with my batteries, they offered to make it right. It’s nice to see a company that stands by their product but also listens to the consumers to make improvements. My one suggestion: protect your investment by following the battery care instructions provided, especially in off season.
I have used heated under gloves for the past 2 years skiing and I love having warm hands. I average 45 days on the slopes each year in all kinds of weather so cold hands are not acceptable. I have switched to Ewool gloves this year as my previously gloves are now letting go at the seams. Upon receiving the Ewool in September 25 for the upcoming ski season I am very impressed with the quality and attention to detail put into the Ewool mitts. I’m also impressed with the ability to charge while leaving the batteries in the gloves and also the haptic feed back for the heating levels. Simple but effective. I’m truly impressed. Can’t wait for the season to begin.
I use a variety of heated wearables from different manufacturers. Gloves & Socks predominantly. I'd say my Pro Vest from eWool is one of the best. Simple to use - no app required and easy to adjust the temp while wearing. It's well made and looks nice on. It's habit-forming to wear it whenever there is a chill in the air! Can't wait to use it under my Goretex Shell this year on the slopes. I'd note that the products fit a little smaller, almost like European sizing. One thing to note is that the 70W battery is very good for longevity, but a little large. It's flat which is good but reasonably large. Not a huge problem for my physical size (6'1 / 200lb).
It will be 2-years since I got my my PRO+ Heated Vest with Dual Battery Kit and I still love it. The vest is very comfortable and well made. Attached picture was taken now. Quality is superb and I think it will last for many more years. I use the back pouch for the battery all the time, there are no restrictions on bending and can sit in a chair comfortably due the position and thinness of the battery. I live in Ontario and use the vest pretty much every day all winter long. The heat is very well distributed, vest heats up very quick, and I medium or low setting are pretty much always warm enough. The high setting is great for those time where you got cold and are try to warm back up. I definitely recommend!!
Ordered several pro heated vests with dual batteries for our unit for Police training in December outdoor cold weather Saskatchewan. These vests are excellent in their simplicity of use and quality made. Great service as well from Ewool. You get what you pay for - top quality and reliable heated gear that will last a long time. I recommend this product and the Ewool company.
