I purchased the eWool pro heated vest after participating in a product demonstration at the 2025 Toronto Outdoors Show. I was very excited when my new vest arrived within a few days! I used the vest for early spring fishing out on Lake Huron, and also for deer hunting in the fall that year. I was very pleased with how the vest kept me warm all day on my hunting and fishing adventures, and was impressed that I had only charged the battery about 4 or 5 times! However in December before going out for a final bow hunt, I plugged in the vest to make sure it was fully charged before going out for the day. But when I turned the vest on, it immediately flashed a strange signal and shut down and would not heat up? I tried troubleshooting the problem according to instructions provided by eWool customer support team, but the vest failed to turn on and heat up after only about 6 or 8 uses! The support rep said the vest was under warranty, but a replacement would not be available until possibly late fall 2026, which I was not very happy about considering the cost of the vest! In April 2006 I received a phone call from Frank at eWool and he apologized for the problems I had with my new vest and the misunderstanding I had with their customer support rep, and that he would personally work to solve my issues. Within 2 days I received a new battery to try in my vest, but it would still not turn on or heat up. Frank called me the same day and offered to send me the new Pro+ vest under warranty, since there was no stock of the older Pro vest. Within a few days I received my new Pro+ vest and it has worked flawlessly so far this spring for fishing and turkey hunting! This to me shows the importance of dealing with reputable Canadian companies who take pride in delivering a quality product to the market and who understand the importance of looking after their Canadian customers. I bought the heated vest and sock covers. Everything heats great. One of my sock covers stopped working after a year, and they replaced it right away. I would recommend these to everyone.
I have purchased both vests and glove liners from eWool over the past few years. Recently one of the controls on a glove liner malfunctioned. When I contacted the support team they went above and beyond with their service solution. They are a fantastic Canadian company that totally stands behind their excellent products. I couldn’t be happier with their products and their support!!
It will be 2-years since I got my my PRO+ Heated Vest with Dual Battery Kit and I still love it. The vest is very comfortable and well made. Attached picture was taken now. Quality is superb and I think it will last for many more years. I use the back pouch for the battery all the time, there are no restrictions on bending and can sit in a chair comfortably due the position and thinness of the battery. I live in Ontario and use the vest pretty much every day all winter long. The heat is very well distributed, vest heats up very quick, and I medium or low setting are pretty much always warm enough. The high setting is great for those time where you got cold and are try to warm back up. I definitely recommend!!
Great customer service, I had a delivery issue with my package and they managed to fix everything and get me my heated jacket just in time before christmas. I gifted it to my dad, and he seems to really like the product.
